After witnessing the death of his beloved mother and sister in a market bombing, Yaz, a bright young boy, loses his voice. Unable to escape Aleppo, his father send him and his brother on a quest to reach Turkey for a better and safer life. But in the way, they must battle the desert, hunger, ISIS and their own faith.
